COVID-19 Customer Conditions

 

We’re so pleased that we’re now able to welcome you back to the restaurant. We’ve put in place a variety of measures to help keep both yourselves and our staff safe and healthy, you can see what we’ve been implementing by taking a look at our risk assessment, which is available here.

But limiting the transmission and spread of Coronavirus falls on everyone’s shoulders, and there are actions that you can take to help us mitigate this. Please take note of the below before you book or visit us.

 

Capacity & Booking

We are accepting walk-in customers, although we encourage you to book in advance, either online or by phone.

 

We’ve limited our capacity to 54 covers to ensure that each occupied table is a minimum of 2 metres away from the next. This has been reflected in our online booking system. We have also staggered our booking times to reduce the likelihood of you arriving at the same time as another party – please try to arrive at your booking time.

Currently, the limit of how many people can be in one party is 30, but your party must be made up of a maximum of 2 households (including support bubbles) – please do not be offended if we question you on your arrival if this seems not to be the case.

 

Arriving & Leaving

 

Please do not visit the restaurant if you, or anyone in your party, feel unwell.

Upon arrival please wait to be seated behind the yellow line in front of the bar. If, in the unlikely event there is a party ahead of you waiting to be seated, please wait behind the floor markers in the entrance.

We may ask you for contact details when you arrive to comply with the government’s Track & Trace programme, we will keep this information on file for 21 days.

We have positioned a hand sanitiser station at the entrance/exit – please use this when arriving and leaving.

 

When you’re ready to leave, your waiter/ess will escort you out to ensure the stairs and doorway are clear. We’ve put a temporary 2 hour limit on booking periods.

 

Whilst You’re With Us

 

We are fully table service – there is no service at the bar or till.

 

We encourage you to use your smartphone to view the menu - instructions can be found on each table. Single-use paper menus are available on request and we are still accepting cash but would prefer that you to use your card to pay.

 

The toilets are currently limited to 1 person at a time. Please help us by moving the vacant/occupied slider sign on the door when entering and exiting and locking the main toilet door upon entering. If they are occupied, please wait outside the door until vacated. If there is already someone waiting please come back in a few minutes. We have placed handwashing instructions above the sinks, please ensure you follow these.

Please follow government guidelines with regards to coughing and sneezing into a handkerchief or napkin (our waiter/esses will be happy to provide you with a replacement) or the crook of your elbow.

Please utilise the hand sanitiser stations dotted around the restaurant during your visit.

Finally, we really appreciate your understanding whilst we all get our heads around this new way of working. We will, as always, strive to provide you with the excellent service that we pride ourselves on delivering, but please bear with us whilst we adjust to this new working environment.
