We often host wine evenings down at The Pipe or online. This can be a tasting of a particular grape variety or the wines of an interesting vineyard or region, to a wine maker's supper or food and wine matching. These are very popular and are booked up pretty quickly.

 

We are keen to promote wine tasting to everyone. It is our mission to knock some of the mystique out of the wine tasters' language, as well as some of the hype and snobbery. To that end our events are very informal; we do not tell you what you are supposed to taste, rather we encourage you to develop your own taste and terminology.

 

We also run a series of annual events such as a lively Burns Supper (complete with piping in the haggis) and the ever-popular New Year's Eve black-tie parties.

 

Prices are usually from £20 to £40 for a tasting and from £30 to £60 for dinner and wine matching, depending on the theme.
