Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Supper

We’ve been massive fans of Charles Heidsieck for many years and Piper-Heidsieck is under the stewardship of the same winemaking team. To show just how well respected this team are, they have now won Sparkling Winemaker of the Year a staggering 9 out of the last 12 years at the International Wine Challenge. The wines of Piper are a different style to Charles and the sharp, fruity, mineral style just screams out for food. So we’ll serve you a little Amuse Bouche of Essex Oysters, followed by a starter of Homemade Gravadlax. For mains we’ll Pan Fry some Venison with a Blackberry Sauce and finish off with a decadent Chocolate Pot with Citrus Shortbread. We’ll serve five of Piper-Heidsieck’s Champagne alongside.
